This oil painting captures a meditative evening scene in Hesse’s Wetterau region, revealing why this area is often compared to Tuscany. The composition showcases the distinctive meadowland that weaves through the valleys of the Wetterau, bathed in the golden light of late summer.

Through careful observation and technique, I’ve captured a rare atmospheric phenomenon where nature itself seemed to paint the sky and fields in an almost mystical yellow glow.
