Original artwork description:

Based upon San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy, this is one of my most detailed works. Anyone who visits Italy will know that every town and village has its share of swifts darting around the rooftops with their distinctive chirping cry. It all adds to the ambience of the place. So I've drawn this from their point of view as the sun begins to set casting long shadows. San Gimignano is well known for its medieval towers which bring a extra dimension to the perspective.

This is a drawing using Derwent Graphic pencils onto 130gsm cartridge paper. Being graphite, the pencil marks have a distinct shine which some may find distracting. It is unframed for ease of postage but please do ask if you wish it to be framed.
