A brightly patterned box turtle climbs out of the water. Box Turtle patterns have a lot of variety and similarity at the same time. Like snowflakes. So this turtle has climbed up on a log to enjoy a bit of sunshine. If you live where there's turtles you've seen this. As soon as the sun comes out the turtles swim out to logs, rocks or whatever and climb up to sun themselves.
