Goedeke is convinced that animals can teach us a lot. The Chamaleon represents the ability to adapt to any new situation. This animal is extremely permeable to new influences and situations. Goedeke believes that this quality is especially useful in difficult times: flexibility and the ability to keep one's mind in a state of transparency help to face challenging times.
When a Chamaleon is in love and wants to attract its potential partner, it changes its color to become more beautiful.
The artist suggests that transparency and permeability are important spiritual and emotional qualities in every aspect of life, even though the desire to close out of fear is quite strong.
