Roosters are never far from my mind.Their colorful plumage attracts me immensely. This one is rather cheerful, with feathers in bright and rich turquoise and burnt orange.I have used salt liberally to create texture in his plumage.The spills and spatter are the part of the painting, as its an impressionistic style painting.Close up shot are provided for better understanding of the texture,
