Having lived in the sub-tropics for many years and now in the UK, the memory of the tropical sea has come to be something like this painting to me. A magical place, full of magical memories. A place of peace, calm and tranquillity.
The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on an Ampersand acid-free gesso primed wooden panel.
The painting is signed on the reverse The piece is 12 in H x 12 in W. It would suit a contemporary block frame.
