An atmospheric Scottish coastal seascape landscape painting inspired by the many white sandy beaches of the far North West coast of the highlands and islands of Scotland where the sea appears to be a turquoise colour even in dramatic weather with grey skies.
In this painting I have tried to portray the ever changing weather and light of these remote picturesque coastine bays with their shallow seas surrounded by wild desolate scenery of moorlands and rugged hills.
Painted in an impressionistic style in blues and purples with an atmospheric and moody grey cloudy sky, and a light blue turquoise colour
Painted in a contemporary gestural style with a palette knife and fingers.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.

Will require a signature on delivery.
