This story came to me like everything else: unexpectedly. My sister and I were floating on the Vaporetto, enjoying the view from the open deck and letting the breeze blow over our faces, when she said to me, " turn your head!" ⠀
I turned. ⠀
There was this gorgeous story waiting for me, changing with every second of the Vaporetto movement.
I took out my phone and clicked the camera twice.
This is how most of them come: they suddenly wait for me around the corner, like pickpockets. I love those moments when the beauty of the world surrounds me.
