This painting came about during a period when I was feeling very insecure about my future. It can be a self-portrait. I had to make a big decision that would impact the rest of my life forever. Could not go back to what it was. I tried to depict the tension, frustration, and insecurity I was feeling at the time with the colors and brush strokes. I still feel that way when I look at the painting.
