Artwork description:

Bright happy tulips in a blue jug, just so spring!

I used happy bright colors, with lovely bright tulips to offset the lturquoise jug to celebrate that spring is here.
This is a very traditional linocut, I do like the look of the cut, showing my hand in every print, carving the lino plate is a labour of love, and making it several colors, means that for every color, the print goes through the press again, time consuming, but oh so satisfying! My favorite printmaking technique and one that celebrates the art of handmade prints.

The piece of warm cream heavy weight printmaking paper measures 38 cm x 50 cm (15" x 20") and the actual lino plate, the printed area measures 39 cm x 28 cm (15.5" x 11")

I have signed and numbered each print in this short edition of only 9 prints.
Shipping from my studio in Denmark, I have many years experience of packing my prints so they arrive safely, see my over 1000 reviews!

Thanks for looking and you are very welcome with questions.
