Original artwork description:

I painted these tulips in my studio this week. It's one of my favourite glasses that used to belong to my great Aunt, I can't believe I haven't used it in a still life before. I decided to use the colour of the canvas for part of the shadow as the tone matched so well. I love painting on canvases that have been primed with a clear glaze so you have the colour of the actual canvas there rather than an intimidating white to work on.

This painting is currently unframed but I can arrange framing if desired.

Materials used:

Oil on linen canvas
