Bright happy tulips in a blue bowl, just so spring!

I used happy bright colors, with lovely bright tulips to offset the light blue bowl to celebrate that spring is here.
This is a very traditional linocut, I do like the look of the cut, showing my hand in every print, carving the lino plate is a labour of love, and making it several colors, means that for every color, the print goes through the press again, time consuming, but oh so satisfying! My favorite printmaking technique and one that celebrates the art of handmade prints.

The piece of bright white heavy weight printmaking paper measures 45 cm x 50 cm (18" x 20") and the actual lino plate, the printed area measures 39 cm x 39 cm (15.5" square)

I have signed and numbered each print in this short edition of only 12 prints, this is the last print 11/12 and you receive this very print.
