Original artwork description:

A hand holding a bouquet of tulips on a pink background. In calm colors in an expressive style.

The artwork “Tulips” 2023. It’s diptych from the series "To Myself".
25 cm by 25 cm each one,
25 cm by 25 cm each one.
Total of Two height 50 cm.

A series of diptychs "To Myself". It arose from the need and understanding of self-care. I was prompted to create this series by the conditions in which I currently live—the war between Ukraine and Russia. Where the safety of your own and your loved ones is a top priority, at such a time, basic needs are included. The series "To Myself" is special for me, as it reminds me that I need to take care of myself and my inner state despite all the conditions of life. Giving yourself gifts, even small joys or pleasures, can create a positive mood and increase self-esteem. This will have a positive impact on the people around you.
In this series of works, tulips symbolize spring and renewal.
The technique in which I painted this series is quite expressive. I wanted to convey the importance of an emotional moment, like a memory or a reminder that in the chaos of everyday life, you need to remember yourself.
