"Tulips"

A gift of beautifully colourful tulips was the starting point for this piece - as soon as I saw them I knew that they needed to be painted. The colours were the starting point and are worked into all elements of the painting along with a shimmering gold touch here and there which really suits the mood of this piece of art.

The edges of this original painting are also painted with patterns and shapes which echo the piece itself.

Signed on the front and varnished.
