It reminds me of a tulip, this turned and then hand-carved piece of walnut wood. It is glued with a weathered piece of branch wood from a wild cherry. An ornament, not just in the garden. Sealed with hard wax oil.
I call them capsules, these turned and carved objects. Each capsule is unique and, as is common in art, has no purpose except that you like it. Nice for those who build a collection with it, because more of these small sculptures follow that take up very little space and fit well in a display case or shelves. With the supplied object frame, 31,5x23 cm the capsule becomes a wall sculpture. My signature is branded, see photo. This lightweights weighs only 144 grams. H: 21 cm W: 8 cm T: 8 cm
