Here in Florida, beach living permeates our mood, our lifestyle, our outlook, so I have painted this series of abstracts in simple, bold, organic shapes and intense colors that we associate with the tropics. I have used black and white because of the sharp contrast between sun and shade. This series is done on stretched (0.625)canvas, which includes hanging hardware, already installed. Each painting is given a satin varnish for protection.
