My moody seascapes are usually inspired by my visits to the Northern California Pacific coast (favorites are Bodega Bay, Stinson Beach, Carmel, Monterey, Sea Ranch, Mendocino, San Francisco, Point Reyes, etc.....), but "Tropical Waves" is inspired of a trip I took awhile back to the East Coast. The warm and colorful sunsets cast shades of orange, pink, gold over the glimmering blue sea.

"California Dreaming" is a small, delicate seascape painted in oil paints with a palette knife on a 5" x 7" masonite panel and is carefully wrapped and shipped in a reinforced envelope,
ready for you to frame. The painting has lots of texture and blended colors.
