Original artwork description:

Art is the voice. I’m the messenger using the gift to open up societies eyes/senses towards their surroundings. It’s often that people respond when it’s to late especially in the moment of crisis. The daily measure one must take in today’s times is to always be vigilant and alert for we in a different era. Give or take one needs to appreciate art to understand it. It’s an abstract artwork so it forces people to think differently, to see things differently. It changes things from being obvious it puts your mind in a place where you got to go further than the surface. You gotta dig deep and seek for a deeper meaning, it forces you to change your way of ‘normal’ thinking. Especially in today’s times it’s vital for the younger generation to be equipped with enhancing the way they see things. The colors speak for themselves, the burnt orange represents the strike of disaster. As natural disasters occur when no one really expects it. And that’s what ‘Tropical Cyclone’ is. We as people need to see things before they happen, the future is now. We need to take caution and be one up as our environment isn’t in a safe place. It’s all because of people, people control everything. What you do to one affects 10 and what you do to 10 affects 100 and so forth, it’s a ripple effect. We need to be wise in how we project our voice going forward. This artwork represents saving our planet. The burnt orange represents a silhouette traumatic face of expression hidden in the blue hues. One needs to have an artistic eye to identify these ‘hidden’ images. The hues of blues/teals represent the spirit of communication. The yellow is representative of intellectual energy.
