Original artwork description:

A special genre of "illusionist" still life, the so-called "bogus" (Dutch bedriegertje), which later received the name "trompe l'œil" in art history literature (from the French words "tromper" - to deceive and " l'œil "- the eye). They play up non-existent windows, frames, and curtains, as well as various objects located in a vertical plane and, as it were, attached with ribbons or pins.

In my Trompe-l'Oeil, you can see many many interesting objects, like playing cards, old newspapers, vintage letters, a key, a loupe, a candle, and a red ribbon, that complement each other and create a certain story! And all participants of the story get along great with each other on a wooden board!
