This canvas is the third and final canvas from the Kyiv series, painted to order. I was born in Kyiv, this is my hometown. The Syvato-Feodosiyskiy Monastery is a unique building, a functioning male monastery, which belongs to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and is located in Pechersk near the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Unique temple architecture. As an architect, I have had great pleasure working on this series of three canvases.
