This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, or listening to music.
This flag or landscape is a tribute to Andre Derain in gratitude for his paintings.
No frame is needed, because the canvas has 3.5 cm deep painted edges.
