Sometimes I'm struck by how the model looks like a living landscape. This reminded me of the Downs (green hills in Sussex) that I grew up near the foot of. I wanted to keep the drawing minimal and flowing.
As always I spent more time looking at the model than the paper and breathed the drawing in to life. My hand seeming to know what it should do to capture the shapes and intensity or softness of line.
Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.
NB the colour of the picture may be slightly different on your monitor/phone depending on settings.
