Original artwork description:

The second in a series of poses which use a triangular shape to give strength to the composition. Here the three points are an elbow, a shoulder and a knee of a female model.

Hard square pastel in dark brown on white paper used. The drawing will be loosely rolled in a tube for posting.

There are four drawings in the Triangular series, do make an offer for all four if you feel like filling your space with a few angular female forms.

Going to open sessions with a life model is great to improve observation skills. This helps me to paint my larger works with a good understanding of how the bones and muscles work together in various more energetic positions.

It also gives me a chance to try out ideas and test new products.
