This is a pastel painting of the village where I live. Trellech is a small village in the rolling hills above the Wye Valley in Wales. In medieval times Trellech was a sizable and thriving town, and the large church reflects the number of people who would have attended in those days. The church bells still ring regularly from the tall steeple that stands out proudly against the undulating hills.
