Original artwork description:

A small collection of majestic trees on the National Trust owned estate, Calke Abbey in Derbyshire England. The old barn and stables can be seen behind the serpentine road.

It has been painted in the same manner, using the techniques of the impressionist of old, on canvasboard (canvas attached to board), using professional fine art oil paints. It has been left sufficiently long to dry (a minimum of six months), before varnishing.

The painting is sized 33cm x 24cm (13in x 9.5in).

Materials used:

oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
