This little painting isn't just about the central tree that is full of light and blossom but it's also about the two tiny trees together in the receding landscape.
It is about the love and companionship shared with another, a marvellous feeling that can make the world seem bright in dark times.
So I see the dominant tree as a manifestation of that love and bliss.

When I loved to Lincolnshire from London in the early 90s to be with my second husband, there were various placements of 'twin trees' in the countryside nearby.
These I found very inspiring at what was a very emotional time.

This image was painted after a few days of murky, misty weather in November, a time of lockdown here in Lincolnshire.

Available framed, ready to hang.
The frame is a simple but professionally made 'tray-frame' slightly just wider than the painting. If you were to want to replace with a more ornate frame, it would be easy to remove.
I have shown the back of the canvas panel because this will be covered by the frame.
It will be signed on the front of the painting too.
