Trees in a field s painting from a series of works that were inspired by a beautiful warm afternoon walking in the fields near my home in late September - the perfect warmth of an Indian summer afternoon, the colours of summer still lurking in the fields...
It was glorious to be surrounded by such calm beauty and I felt very privileged to be there and I couldn't get back to my studio quick enough to paint the feelings and the scene
