Although the dog is the focal point, my interest follows the sequence of the title:
First, the trees bathed in afternoon light, making interesting patterns against the sky, the overgrown field, with its undulating shifts in colour & tone, and lastly doggo, who enjoys nothing more than a romp through soggy fields.
