Original artwork description:

Another in my series of local views. This is by a canal about 15 minutes drive away. The reference photo was taken on a spring day when all the foliage was starting to burst in to life again. I was attracted by the silhouette pattern of the background trees against the sky, and by the reflections in the water.

For my painting I have played a little with the colours. I am never one to completely copy a photograph. I have added branches in several colours, but you may not pick this up the first time you look at the painting.

I have painted this in acrylic paint.

It comes with a white mount and backboard. You will need to choose a frame. However, as with all my paintings I always use standard sizes, so framing is easy. This takes a regular 16 x 20 inch frame.
