Original artwork description:

This drawing begins from a small found piece of metal tessellated and repeated in a pattern. The drawing evolved as a series of liquid masked spots within box like structures and entwined roots and trees.
It reminded me of a cemetery in Italy in the mountains above San Remo which was short on level ground so they had built small square stacking box spaces, and so that's how the title came to be.
