Collagraph varied edition print, printed on 370gsm cartridge paper. This is a from a limited edition of 6. No 1 has now sold, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are still available. Number 3 is showing. A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. My printing plate is made from mounting board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief. I Collaged my plate with different textures in this instance I used dead leaves, aluminium tape and PVA glue. The tree was cut from the mount board with a scalpel. I used PVA glue to stick on my textures. PVA is then sealed with shellac. The plate is then coloured with stay open inks and each print is never the same. I will pack this print flat between layers of cardboard (see me at work pic) This print is sold unframed. This work fit into an IKEA Frame.
