Earlier this year, I discovered this rather lovely spot in which to paint. I like the way the tree frames the distant view, and the way the shape of the fields allowed me to explore the space as it recedes into the distance. The location is near Pittenweem, Fife, Scotland, looking south towards the Forth Estuary. I shall return to this spot as the seasons change and hopefully make more paintings of this view.
