On a winter’s day, with cloud and mist forming a backdrop, the lone tree on the Île de Peilz dominated the horizon at the east end of Lac Léman. With hardly any wind, the surface of the lake was calm and seemed to smooth out into a uniform flat, silver sheet surrounding this tree, which stands looking both out-of-place and, at the same time, dignified and graceful, in a vast expanse of water.

Limited edition digital Giclée print on Epson archival paper.

Unless you have a specific request, I use the same frame and mount for all my photographs; whilst I have some framed works in stock, I print and frame most works to order, hence the photos of the frame are generic (please see additional images).
