Original artwork description:

This Acrylic on Paper painting was done “en plein air” over three early morning sessions in San Jose, California. It was painted whilst I was staying with relatives in San Jose. I was struck by the strange beauty and shape of this tree and also the beautiful crispness of the morning light in California. I painted it over three sessions because the light would change as the sun rose higher and changed the colours and shadows of the sky and branches of the tree. I built up the detail of this painting by overlaying and adding thin layers of transparent Acrylic paint on top of each other.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
