This painting was inspired by a visit to the Costa Rican Rain Forest - yet another place where the impact of climate change is dramatically shown in the changes in rainfall patterns, dwindling diversity of wildlife and the unpredictability of what is to come. Looking up through the trees, one views their impressive strength and solidity as they sear skywards - yet at the same time their vunerability to the human destruction around them. We can only regenerate our precious planet if we work with it, not against it.
