Artwork description:

For several years I paid visits to this tree in different conditions; it struck me as special, but finding a suitable way to capture it proved elusive. Then, one still, warm summer night, a scene presented itself – lying on the ground, the tree’s form dominated my view, with the stars gradually creeping past in the background and the wildflowers and grasses standing motionless all around. The only sign of wind was the streaks of cloud, high up, sweeping east.

Unless you have a specific request, I use the same frame and mount for all my photographs; whilst I have some framed works in stock, I print and frame most works to order, hence the photos of the frame are generic (please see additional images).
