Palm Tree print. An original, hand pulled drypoint print of a palm tree, printed from a hand etched copper plate, onto somerset paper.
The second in a series of prints I am making of trees. I sketched and photographed the tree while I was in Portugal in 2014. It's a silhouette and is printed using black ink onto white somerset paper. The original plate is copper which I etch by hand with a steel scribe.
The image itself is interesting because of its simplicity and tropical feel.
