For many of us, the childhood relationship with our pets is significant.. This is a little etching and aquatint of a girl with her dog.

I 'redrew' my original sketch onto a grounded zinc plate using an etching needle. The exposed lines are then etched or 'bitten' when placed in acid leaving a deep grooves to hold ink. I added an aquatint to achieve the dark tones.

The plate is then inked for each print in the limited edition and handcrafted using an etching press.

Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between two layers of board and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
