Original artwork description:

'Travel Makes Me Happy' is an original drawing in pencil and ink on hand stained paper. Measuring 130mm x 140mm in size, this study shows a lone elephant on his journey...the words are taken from a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote, one which I have always loved...
“Life is a journey, not a destination.”
The tiny tag line 'Travel Makes Me Happy' is also very true...I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing, texture and detail is added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at close up.
