Artwork description:

Inspired by Autumn and ubiquitous debris of leaves, this is an exploration of colour, marks and magnificent transcendence.

Transitions 2021 V/E 1-16 is varied edition linocut series using traditional reduction techniques. The variation is in colour.

This 6 colour lino reduction print has all been hand made - drawn, carved and printed by hand. An edition of only 16 prints, each one is unique. One piece of hessian-backed lino was used throughout, with colours added and more lino cut away each time.

Printed with waterbased relief inks on Lokta paper and signed and numbered on the front in pencil. Other colour palettes were printed at the same time and may be available in my Artfinder shop - swipe to see a photograph of the variations together.
