This work was done after my visiting St. Petersburg. It was created under the influence of the atmosphere of this great city and under its description by Dostoevsky. It is a fusion of literature, architecture and fine arts in one place. I will give you some lines from the "White nights" which so clearly overlapped with what I saw:
«There are rather strange corners in St. Petersburg. Completely different new sun shines into these places, as if specially ordered for these corners. It shines with a special light. It seems like a completely different life here, unlike the one that is around us. It is fantastic, ideal, prosaic and incredibly vulgar."
