This is an abstract painting, part of the series TRANSIT.
Paintings from this series have strong emphasis on color and there is always some transition of color shades. In this painting I tried to create a visual image of an idea of screaming.
Colors are passing from the bright yellow to the dark red. Shapes are more sharp and angular which correspond with the original idea.
It is painted with gouache colours on quality thick watercolour paper. Gouache technique is one of my favourite because the colours from different layers slightly mix together which results in rich and interesting colour shades.
