This is an abstract painting with strong emphasis on colour and colour shades.
In some paintings I start with a limited spectrum of colors and search for a composition and shapes which correspond with colors. This combination of colors appears restrainedly elegant to me, that's why I choose geometrical forms. The colors I use in this painting are: Havana brown, Fir green, Purple Lake violet, gold, white, black and some Prussian blue.

It is painted with gouache colours on quality thick watercolour paper. Gouache technique is one of my favourite because the colours from different layers slightly mix together which results in rich and interesting colour shades.
