Original artwork description:

At 1.5 metres wide Transient Jade has a strong 'sense of place' through suggestion leaving the viewer to interpret the piece personally. The painting is built up in layers of paint application. Firstly very loose and watery acrylic looking to achieve 'accidental' sweet spots of colour and texture, applied over texture pastes. Then paintery shapes built up followed by subtle glazes of tone and blends to tie elements together. Transient is framed up in a whitesmart tray frame.
