This painting has its own history. Since 2021, I had one black and green gloomy abstraction in my studio that I really didn’t like. She evoked melancholy and sadness because of her coloring. Perhaps I was in just such a mood at that moment. Many times I wanted to just throw it away, but yesterday I came up with a great idea. I thought it would be very symbolic if I painted joy, tenderness, happiness and blooming spring on top of this picture. This happened 10 days before the start of spring 2024. And now this transformed picture makes me happy and completely matches my mood and inner world. It is very symbolic when you sketch the seal and darkness with a spring mood in anticipation of happiness. The painting is painted on thick cardboard in oil with the addition of varnish and acrylic.
