Artwork description:

Transcendence, 2018, shows a virtual set of spaces that intersect and project out from each other, creating a dynamic space where one figure can be seen in duplicate, progressing through the delineated rooms and portals. Teasdale has proposed this environment taking into account color psychology, thinking about the varying effects of color on our mood. In this work, the two sides of green: one warm and fresh, another cooler and, accordingly, more detached, are in the foreground. The rear of the brighter green structure is where we see the first iteration of the striding figure. It has passed through the dividing line of the blue screen. Still further back, the green becomes white and the figure now appears as a shadow, conversely solid for the first time, and turned entirely now, with its back to the viewer as it moves on from the angular framework out into free space.

*I can now provide this as an "Acrylic Print" which is a print on fine art paper and mounted onto 1/8" acrylic (otherwise known as plexiglass). Mounting hardware is on the back making it ready to hang. This makes for a polished and modern piece of art that is durable and long lasting.
