This is one of my collection of seascape paintings as I love the sea so much. "Tranquillity Cove" is an expression of sea and surf towards the evening. I'm always inspired by the sea and the beautiful blues of the ocean, the white rolling surf and windswept sky. I find the rhythmical waves very calming and hope to convey a feeling of tranquillity in this painting.

Painted in mixed media on a deep edged canvas "Tranquillity Cove" is an original work of art and one of a kind. The painting is in mixed media and to create texture I have used some sand from the beach, which I mixed into the paint while I was working. The painting continues round the sides and is ready to hang.
