Artwork description:

A calming forest of green trees and deep reflections in dark water. The small cottage by the edge of the water sits quietly beckoning to a life of peace and tranquility.

Made on the edge of Loch Eck in the Scottish Highlands, a small quiet loch steeped in history. The steep sides of the hillside is covered in pine trees and in their spring colours the colours range from forest green almost blue and vibrant lime.

Printed at 48 x 32 inches with a 2 inches white border with the signature, title and edition number under the image for a total size of 52 x 36 inches.

Printed on beautiful aquarelle fine art paper with a watercolour texture to bring out the texture in the image.

About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. Arches-Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI, their paper was used by Voltaire and Napoleon and the Montgolfier brothers used Canson paper to make the first hot air balloon.

This paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Chagal, Miro and many other artists. They have been making paper and canvas for photography since this art began over 150 years ago. People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.

Materials used:

Exquisite Fine Art Giclée Print on Aquarelle Paper with Non-fade Inks
