I wanted to capture the warmth and tranquility of a Parisian evening, evoking a sense of romance tinged with a hint of melancholy. The Eiffel Tower looms softly in the misty background, with the damp streets and overcast sky suggesting a post-rain hush. However, the flickering candlelight, the inviting pastries, and the comforting presence of coffee create a striking contrast, embodying the intimate charm of Paris.

In terms of technique, I used loose and fluid brushstrokes to depict the scene outside the window, allowing the background to remain slightly blurred, enhancing the dreamy atmosphere. Meanwhile, I applied more refined strokes for the still-life elements in the foreground, emphasizing the textures of the food, the book, and the table setting to draw the viewer into the moment. The darker tones in the interior frame the composition, while the golden glow of the candles reflects warmly, adding depth and a sense of life to the scene. Through this balance of cool and warm tones, I aimed to create an immersive and poetic visual experience.
