Tranquil Inlet is created using layers of medium glazes and blends combined with rugged texture to create the tranquility of the Hebridean Islands in certain weather patterns. It is more than likely a fleeting atmosphere that changes in a moment. Having stayed many times around the islands Paul is familiar with the fleeting atmospheres and paints from memory to capture them on canvas in an abstracted way. At a metre square Tranquil Inlet has a real presence in any room. Available in tray frame on request.
